So, lately I have gone through a transformation of the bikes I am riding. By far, the VFR is still my favorite bike. I have gone through a LOT of bikes over the past 2.5 years, trying to find ones that I like to ride - independent of brand or heritage. If I can sit my but on the bike, feel comfortable, and do the things I want to do, I will keep the bike. The VFR has consistently been on the number 1 spot of bikes I like. I have the 07 Anniversary edition bike and the paint scheme is to do for. The mods on the bike: Penske rear shock Racetech fork internals Pazzo levers Dubba Bubba wind screen PC3 tuned with a K&N filter Fender eliminator Givi trunk mount Sargent Seat Soon: Exhaust replacement Soon: Miscellaneous powder coating I run Pilot Powers tires at recommended pressure. I have taken this bike on everything but dirt or trail riding and I have to say that I absolutely LOVE this bike. It does everything I need it to do. I can rail turns with the best of them, yet I can sit on the thing for hours without discomfort. It has enough power to keep up with most of my riding friends, yet has great gas mileage due to its' Vtech technology. I know I am preaching to the choir here, but the VFR is the top bike in my fleet - now at 6 bikes. To be honest, there really is no reason to own any other bike, other than a track-only bike which would still need I go through bikes like they are going out of style, but my VFR will always be with me. The only thing I could conceivably do is ADD a newer VFR when Honda decides to change the next styling cycle. Until then, the VFR is my head mistress
