Just a quick intro, I am now the proud owner of a 2002 Interceptor with ABS, I love it. It's my first bike since 2000, and my reasons for buying it may shock some of you. I was looking for a motorcycle, and had finally narrowed it down to something sporty. I could have gotten anything from an SV650 to a ZX14, but I decided on the Interceptor. It's capable of 9/10ths the pace of a pure sportbike, and I never ride more than 8/10ths myself. What really sold me on the Interceptor though, was my memory of driving down the road 10 years ago, and a VFR with an aftermarket exhaust system came by wailing. Nothing sounds like it, so my search was narrowed down to "VFR, with a pipe". Which is what I got, it sounds incredible. Here's my son and I on it, yes he has ridden with me, he's got a helmet and riding clothes also.
