Hello All, After about a month of sitting I finally finished my Interceptor up. I managed to get ahold of some new plastics on ebay and a few other miscellaneous items, turning out to be more then what I bought the bike for, which I payed 475, what a steal right? She has 20,000 miles on her. Painted it and everything, I think it turned out really nice. Just in time to ride. I've ridden it for 3 days now and man, I couldn't be more happy, I love the feeling of being on this bike, it handles perfectly and has some get up and go, the insurance is cheap as hell also! Although my only regret is getting a 500 CC, Whilst this thing has a fair amount of power, I've grown used to it very quickly and can already feel its limits. I've been riding dirtbikes sense I was a little kid so riding isn't a new hobby to me. It seems my next step will be towards a 650 or 700 of some kind. Tell me what you think! Oh and yes, that is a dent in the tank =( Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us
used to it is what you wanna be thats just my 2 cents of my four bikes the lil 500 is the one i like riding around town the most its i fun lil ride. its easy to flick around when needed and when runnin up the freeway it does pretty good she keeps up with just about anything out there till about 85 mph and thats where she seems to fall off with my fat ass on her but thats what they all have done to me i have owned 2 prior to this one the other two ended up being parts bikes.. the vf 1000 is a lil top heavy compared to the 500 and about 3xs the power. we wont talk about the busa cause about the only place it feels half way descent anymore is right as the turbo spools and its like a rocket ship from hell right after that.. it has hardly any power under that because the compression ratio has been knockd down to about half of what it was stock.. and the tl1000r is a torque monster everywhere i go i feel like the front end wants to come up off the ground even at mild acceleration.
Thanks for the input guys, its well appreciated! In the past two days I've put on 250 miles, woohyah!
