I am 36 years old and finally got the VFR I have always wanted. I started riding about 6 years ago when the prices of gas starting going up. It took months to talk my wife into it. When it happened and I finally got a bike it was a 2006 Katana. Awsome bike but not exactly what I wanted. I wanted gas mileage, speed, and cool. After a while maybe 2 years I was looking up something on Craigslist and before my eyes the most amazing bike ever appeared. It was a red VFR 800. I told my wife right then I would have one. Someday I would have one. Well 3 bikes later and alot of trading with some fixer ups being sold it happened. I bought my first VFR!!!!! Its a 2007 25th anniversary beast. 2 weeks on the road now and I love it. After riding CBR's and a Katana, now I know what it should really feel like to ride a motorcycle. No back pain only comfort on my 30 minute ride to work in the morning. It's also a pleasure in the evening going home when all the crazies are out trying to take me out. Best time I have had was the journey to this bike. Well worth it.
