    Hello!!
    I´m new here.
I´m 33 yo and I live in Jönköping in Sweden.
My bike is a vfr 750 fg (-86)

Hope to find tips and mods for my bike.

What I like to do is change the 16'' frontwheel to a 17" one, and change the frontfork to.
My fork is 37mm and a little weak imo, I believe the cbr 600 f2 is 41 mm.
Is it hard(possible) to take the frontfork(inkl the triple trees) and the wheels from a cbr 600 f2 and fit it to my bike?

    Best regards
    Simon

    Hello and welcome Simon!

One of my favorite bands in the whole world is from Sweden!

    The Hives!

I love punk music and they are a great punk band.
I know you can change out the VFR's front with another bike, but I am spacing out on what it is (RC-51 maybe?)

Check the VFRWiki for that info!

Welcome to the group Simon. I can't answer your questions, but there are probably some who can or who can direct you to where to find some answers, like bubba did. And Bubba, you know ABBA rules. lol

Thanks for your replies and for welcomming me!!
I´ve found some good information about the frontchange here at vfrworld,
    Learned a lot.
Like the cbr 600 hurricane frontwheel fits perfect to my vfr.
    No modifications needed.
Thats the easiest way to get a 17" frontwheel.
The cbr 600 f2 front fits to with some modifications on the steeringstem/triple trees.

I´m not so much into punkmusic but The Hives has lot of energy and attitude that I like a lot!!! Really cool band!!
I grew up with ABBA, so it's more nostalgic music for me, but it's ok.
    I´m more into jazz/funk/fusion
Allan Holdsworth, Planet X, Marcus Miller.

Tonight I'm going to a consert with Allan holdsworth at Nefertiti in Gothenburg,,,hmm nice:smile:

    Best regards

You are so right Simon. I saw them in D.C. and they were all cocky on stage at the beginning of the show saying: "The Hives will have you worshiping at the alter of Rock and Roll". After their hour set, we were all converts LOL!

And Vman! You are the dancing queen brother! Or do you still go by the name Fernando? LOL
