Nice bike cabrera. It looks like it is in nice shape. What year was your old bike? You say that it had more punch than your new 6th Gen. Is there a reason for that? Your new bike shouldn't give anything away to a previous model VFR unless there were modifications of some sort. Congratulations on your purchase.

    Thanks Stewart,
My previous VFR is a 2000 VFR800f (5th generation) and I have noted this because the VTEC actuation is at 7000 RPM and the other model always have the 16 valves working, it has more mid range power, and the 6 th generation is smooth in low revs and increases it feels like a car turbo).(and I miss the cams gear noise)
I was searching untill I found it, I love the shape and I think the newer is prettier.

I definitely agree with that. When I went from my 5th Gen to my 6th Gen, I had to get used to not hearing the gear driven cams. That's one thing I wish the 6th Gen had. However, I still have them on my '86 750 and 1000.

You're rigth, congratulations for your bikes, the Vf1000R is spectacular, I tried to buy one several years ago but didn't make it,
If the 6th generation had the previous engine it'd be the best bike we could choose, I really think that this is much prettier that the new VFR1200F. ( altough if I'had the money maybe will try to get one¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡)
