Of course no music is better than V-4 music... .

I haven't had a bike since MP3 players came along. Sometimes on the real long rides I would like to use my WalkMan to keep me company on the endless stretches of freeway.

There are quite a few songs that really lend themselves to riding. Lou Reed's New Sensations, Arlo Gutherie's Motorcycle Song, The Hondell's Little Honda etc.

    What are your favorites?

One of mine is a song called Blues For Findlay by Gong. It's lyrics are about Jack Findlay, the greatest private rider in the world. It's from the soundtrack from the movie Continental Circus.

" Motorcycle rider greatest private rider in the world. Watch out factory man coming behind you, rich man I ain't accident prone. On a good day I'M the greatest motorcycle rider in the world... . Coming up behind you gonna leave you behind behind ... have to catch you later now you see me, Agostini... Have to catch you later oh yeah... The world is coming at me the world is coming at me, pretty fast pretty fast, time is eating your mirrorrs, time is your life time is your wife time is your world it's just you and your bike you're all alone.... "

Check it out on Youtube. If anyone loves it as much as I do, drop me a line, I'll try and email you the MP3 track.
