MRA screen - 12volt socket

    Have just fitted MRA touring screen to my VFR800 FI (2000) looks good and works well. Now wish to add a 12volt power socket, any advice much appreciated. Martin Swansea UK

    Welcome sir! I hooked up a 12volt on my 5th gen. I picked mine up off of aerostitch.com and it has a spring loaded cap. I made two holes thru the fender (under the seat) next to the battery and I mounted it with some screws/nuts. I just routed the wires neatly to the battery posts, and that's it.

    another good company with kits is http://www.casporttouring.com/
    I've purchased kits from them for other bike. Havn't added any accessories to my vfr yet.
