Moved up from 5th to 6th! Any reco's on a PC3 Map?

Hey gang,
It's been a while. I've been thoroughly enjoying my yellow 2000 for several years now. I let her go last week and snatched up a very nice silver '08. I'm very happy with the looks and it feels so much like the 5th gen I barely notice any difference. The difference I do notice is in the overall lack of perceived power from the old to the newer, the torque was a favorite feature. I was surprised how smooth the engine is under 5500 or so until V-tec kicks in, and I grin every time the high side engages ( 2000 did not have v-tec).

I have spent hours and hours researching maps for the Power Commander 3 usb that the '08 has. I am looking for a nice high strung map, any links or files would be appreciated. I did find a large group of files on vfrd but haven't really looked at them, mostly I haven't a clue what I am looking at.

The '08 is running o2 elims, Two Brother's oval aluminum, and K&N.

If anyone thinks one of the PC maps of their website will work I am all ears, they had micron, loe vince, and staintune to choose from.

 

Hey Smerick, I don't have personal experience with this one but I had read in the past that the Cozy map was well liked. Crap shoot I guess. Luck to ya. Enjoy your new ride. Hey, have you posted pics yet? If not, better get on it!:tongue-new:

 

I did find Cozy's and his is in my top four to try. I believe his was for an '06. Easy to change it back if it falls flat I suppose.

Good to know, you've inspired me to get off my ass and try down loading it. I installed a pcv years ago and have just let it be with the map that came loaded.

 

It's still early on the east coast so my brain won't google properly and I can't seem to direct upload the file on the forum, although I'm certain there is a way.
I found one of several articles on vfrd with a direct file download link. If this doesn't work pm me and I will email the file I have.

I don't see any maps to download. Were you trying to point me toward one?

 

Rapid Bike Racing comes loaded with supplied ignition / fuel mapping and the fuel map is auto tuning. Downloaded fuel maps are not ideal.
