Looks like a built in rear stand. MotoGuzzi also make little espresso makers being Italian and all, so those wheels could be ravioli dies.

If you go to their website they have videos of the bike using deployable outriggers for riding in the snow. That could be where the wheels are stowed when not in use.

I would love to go to "their" website. What is perplexing is who is "their"?

Their bike did'nt have self canceling turn signals possibly, I am at a total loss for words here, great video; only thing missing was the proverbial "kitchen-sink" and maybe a some sort of rifle afixed to the front end?

I like "guzzis" we used to kid around at the shop I worked in Miami and affectionately called them "the official bike of the gay liberation." Guess that the San Francisco police used them originally back in the 70s. Not that there is anything wrong with that or them or what ever. Anyway, you think you have seen everything and then something comes along and kinda blows your mind. Cheers ; )

I worked in a Guzzi dealership once upon a time and I can tell you that this is a typical Guzzi creation. It seems that every Guzzi rider prides themselves in creating useful bits out of angle iron and items from the local hardware store. All Guzzi riders have beards.

Great story and trip. That's so cool but it's got to be tuff to hang in there like these two have. My hat's off to them. Great way to see the world though. Thanks MOFO.
