When installing a motad header can you run stock ECU? Does it need a power commander to run? Does the oxygen sensor become tripped and you now run with a check engine light on constantly? :crushed:
Please see this: http://vfrworld.com/forums/showthread.php/12750-Motad-Cat-less-headers-for-VFR800-Vtec-in-Australia Most high performance/race headers require fueling. This guy's is a larger diameter which is a factor that dramatically affects the engine. Put a Power Commander on it from day one as it will run lean without it, and can do engine damage. You will need to use the sensor eliminators that come with the PC.
I fitted Motad headers to mine, it already had a PC3. The chap at the dyno said he had to make quite a few adjustments.
