    Hi all

I became a proud owner of a 2002 VFR 800 VTEC on Wednesday, after trading in my 2006 Kawasaki Z750.

To say I'm chuffed to bits would be an understatement - the ride down the motorway to work is so much more comfortable (and quicker  ), and even my other half prefers the ride.

Looking forward to many years of VFR ownership

Congrats on your purchase. How about some more details about your bike such as mileage, color, upgrades, etc. The V4 engine is very dependable. If you take good care of her she can easily last you over 100k miles.

    Regards,

Well, it's got 12200 miles, in silver, and came with some giant Givi panniers, which exclude any chance of filtering into work if I leave them on, so they're kept safe until I need them. Looks like it was looked after very well, did around 8000 miles in its first 2 years, and then taken 4 years to do the next 4000. I'm guessing that by the condition it was a summer, dry weather only bike.

    Some pics for everyone:
