WHY Pirates??? Don't we have a US Navy??

Does the Navy not have ships, sattelites, drones, helicopters, intelligence services, and long-distance reconnanance planes??



Piratism is terrorism, so why is the US not doing more to stop it?

Can't these giant vessels "hard-a-port" and swamp these fricking pirate row boats??

And why are Armed "Contractors" for private security services not on vessels in troubled waters? Whenever a vessel is ransomed, terrorists get millions $$$. Radar- guided armaments could shoot any approaching suspicious boat.

Why can loin-cloth clad village tribal clans outsmart the US CIA, NSA, FBI, Sattelite Total Information Awareness Network Services, Armed Forces Intelligence, etc.??

Why can't the US Marines move into pirate ports with guns drawn......because we got our ass kicked when Somalis shot down some US helicopters a few years back??

WE know who these guys are, so send in the SWAT team.

Can it be in US interest somehow that pirates are allowed to continue operations ??

Eliminating piratism should be an easy task for satellite and signal intelligence agencies in coordination with US ground and Naval forces. Target movements of the "Mother ships" from their ports.

Can't CIA information it wizards trace ransom payments to holders of bank acccounts ??

THE convoy system was used as a defense against Nazi U-boat attacks, so why not now?? One or 2 Navy Destroyers in a line of merchant traders would be a real deterrant to piratism.
