Has anyone tried to modify the battery tray on a 6th gen to get the 12Bs (3/4" higher) to fit? In canada a 12BS AGM is available everywhere for 2/3 the price. Is it even possible?
I don't have an answer to your question, but despite the size, does it have the same ratings? I wouldn't put a sub par battery in one of these 6th gen's might overtax the allready weak charging system. Or for about the same price as a regular battery you could switch over to the new lithium batteries coming out.
