I finally found a way to mount my rear seat cowl on my '87 700F... My stock seat was missing the right side mounting stud so there was no way to mount the cowl, other than to put an ugly screw all the way thru the cowl and the seat. So here's the fix, I went to Lowes and bought a packet of 1/4" X 1-1/2" flat head furniture bolts. The head on the bolt is about 3/4" in diameter so it looks good and doesn't stick out from the cowl. The only technical part was the stock nut on the inside of the seat is a 6mm and you can't get furniture bolts in 6mm so I retapped the nut to accept the 1/4" bolt I bought. I'll get some pic's posted as soon as I get a chance...

Next up- reskin the seat with clubbed baby seal :hippie:
