mileage on my vf700f

    As some of you know I replaced my rings this past spring and they seem to be doing well I have about 1500 miles the break in period and I didn't baby it at all here is the question I am averaging 38-40 mpg is this good for this year of ride?
    1985 w/ stage 1 jet kit
    that's highway.:biggrin:

    I'd have to say that's pretty good. My 85' VF700F gets around 35-40 on the highway with all stock carb internals.
