i was searching for the production stats for VFR sales, why?...because i wanted to know just how many are out there because i am having a hard time buying the one i want( i live in Barrie, Ontario, Canada)

i found an article that had an image, i saved the image and i am now sharing it with all of you. Its hard to see clearly but you can see how many units sold per year for the 1st and 2nd gen bikes

if i read right there were the following sold( US? Canada? world wide?)

    1986...650 sold/made?
    1987...561 units
    1988...1039 units
    1989...1191 units
    1990..1247 units
    1991...999 units
    1992...491 units
1993...418 units( holy low production/poor sales!!!)
    1994...856 units
    1995...1070 units
    1996...1340 units
    1997...1821 units

The title on the graph says "Honda wants sales to keep rising with the new VFR" so i figure this must be close to the introduction of the 3rd GEN bike

You could certainly look at this a couple of ways but a real good '93 should be worth a premium unless noone wanted it new and less want it used

i could buy one today with 39000kms but in rough cosmetic condition for $3000 and i saw a mint one sell for $4700 with 24000kms

if ANYONE can confirm these numbers or get better ones please post, i am real curious
