apparently michelin has REDUCED the current whsl pricing on many MC tires such as PP and 2CT

my local guy indy today told me that most of the michs are "on sale" to him from the distributors,
and that he can offer some really good deals on the the most popular tires in sportbike sizes.

such as: pilot power in 120/180 for $250 installed + tax = $265 out the door here in GA
2CT was a few more bucks.

i know this guy well enough to presume that its not just some BS.
these are NOT old stock laying in the backroom for years. new stock straight from WPS.
as mich sells only thru dist, any dealer should be able to get the "deal" on tires currently

i was gonna install dunlop roadsmarts this spring, which were gonna be about $360 OTD,
but this deal on the michs may just be too good to pass up now.

i guess the downside might be getting a taste of some really sticky tires.

    Link?

Michelin Pilot Power 2CT from Dennis Kirk is $97.00 shipped to my door right now for 120/70/17, plus mounting & balancing at my local shop. This price is lower than the catalog I got a month ago states.

I got a new Michelin Pilot Road 2CT last summer for $165 shipped. They're $147 now.

another local guy (all he does is MC tires) confirmed to me this morning that

michelin has "reduced" their pricing on most tires. not a sale, but reduced.

possibly due to the intro of newer power-one and pure-power models.

No MotoGP expenses last year or this year... I've enjoyed how the PR 2's have held up on my commute.
