Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. For those where riding is still possible have fun, for the rest of us the worst is over, it all gets better from here. The days are getting longer and today the sun is shinning  (sort of).

I was just thinking that yesterday. Here, I have never lost riding capability due to the weather except at night so as the days get longer, the rides get better. It's hard to get in the saddle at 27 degrees even when you know 65 is coming later on the same day...

Warm wishes to all fellow VFRers. Big thanks to all the military service people on here too. While I'm at it, props to Micheal and the mods...thanks for keeping this a great site. Really hope everyone has a great Christmas.

Placerville KG -- Thanks, proud to serve. I'm very blessed to be home this time. Wasn't that way last year, and will not be next year, so THIS year we're livin it up!!

Please keep the boys who aren't as fortunate as me in your thoughts and prayers. I've been there this time of year, hunting terroists and such. While entertaining and certainly loaded with camaraderie (especially this time of year), it simply cannot replace being home with the family.

To everyone, Merry Christmas or "happy holidays", whichever fits!!

Merry Christmas everyone, I just got news that my best friends bother was killed this morning so puts a bit of a bummer for the holidays. Remember to always treat eachday as its your last and be safe out there. Brian

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. It's cold as hell, the high was only
75F yesterday! I'm dreading our upcoming 6 weeks of near freezing weather!
