    Like so many other VFR owners, I wanted a scale model of my bike (a black '07). Surprisingly hard to find, given the VFR cult following.

    Finally I found a 1/18 Maisto model on ebay. The only problem it was it was an '02 model, and had terrible-looking chrome plastic all over it.

    But with a bit of Tamiya Flat Aluminium to get ride of the chrome look on all but mufflers, discs and
    forks, I took care of that. And a bit of black paint covered up the yellow V-TEC writing on the fairing.

    It's not a great quality model and technically the VFR logo isn't quite right for an '07 (nor are the rim shapes quite spot on) but overall I'm pretty happy with it. It now helps me get through to the weekends at my desk jockey job. Thought I'd share a pic:)
