Currently have a 2005 BMW R1200RT. Like the bike but it needs some company and I'm considering a new 2006 VFR. Can someone give me an idea of how the VFR compares to the Beamer in performance? No doubt some things will be like night and day. The VFR is lighter and faster no doubt but would like to hear some type of comparisons from someone in the know. Like how much faster? Would also like to see some performance figures for the VFR. Like quarter mile times, top end approx., standing mile speeds, things of this sort. All help and advice appreciated! The VFR has really got my interest up. Going to test ride one within the next 3 weeks.
