^^^^ its priced right, a fun bike, light, decent power, top speed about 105 mph, very flickable.

love my vtr, and its my regular daily rider for 30 years, but i needed to sand off the carribean island colors and repaint b4 i rode it. got my FIRST vtr from a friend in 1993 who found it abandoned in a garage he rented out and wanted it gone.

2nd vtr the '90 id hoped to find, but engine blewup within 200 miles. brought in a bike from PA (#3 vtr) that a friend transported free, switched engines, have less than 300 miles on so far, seldom ridden.

4th vtr bought from another friend, fixed some stuff and sold it for a modest profit.

i have extra tanks and bodywork left over too and two rolling chassies.

Seems like a good deal, 12 year old CBR250's are about 2200 down here. I'll take the 89 VTR250, much cooler and possibly faster?
