    Hi,

First of all, I'm french, so excuse me for my bad english!!
Then, this VFR is my first bike, and i'm not very aware of bike mechanics...

Here is my problem: I bought a 92 VFR750 about a month ago with around 22000miles on it.
It was working fine, but after a week or 2, it broke down after a 45 minutes ride.
I took it to a mechanic who first replaced the sprk plugs and cleaned the air filter.
But the problem appeared again. So he replaced the R/R...
    Still the same problem!!
Then he changed the stator, and that didn't change anything either.

It seems, from what I understood that the battery is charging fine when the bike is cold, but it stops charging when the bike is getting hot.

Does someone have any idea on where this problem could come from?
And any suggestions to fix it???

    Thank you in advance :)

    Best guess

Your description of problem is a little scetchy but the three pin plug under left side panel from stator to regulator is very prone to damage from heat.Inspect it , most likely cooked.May very well be your issue. I assume used parts were used and poor connection from damaged or old terminals need attention.
