I've only had my 08' for about 5 months. I just returned after leaving Wisconsin from a 4 day trip to the Ozarks. About 650 miles each way. The bike travelled extremely well. Comfortable, 85 mph the whole way while scoring about 45 mpg's. Once there, the luggage came off and I hammered Hwy 9 and 341 with a friend on a Speed Triple. The VFR was great and held it's own. This morning the bags went back on and the miles just clicked off today. What a great bike with such terrific talents to do so well touring and then be sooo capable in the twisties!!! I'm VERY impressed!

The VFR is a great all around performer as you're finding out. Welcome to the forum.
