Main Relay on 83 vf750f

I believe I have a bad main relay...I am getting volts to the main relay "red wire" but I feel its not closing when I turn the switch on so the "bl/bu wire can feed volts to my fans..To take it 1 step further,I have no volts at the 10a fuse which feeds the 2 couplers to my fans..

I know the fans works cause I straight wired tested them both...I also used the original shop manual to trace wires..


My 1st question is can I not put a jumper wire between the red and the bl\bu wire so I would have voltage to run fans??
Q2 Where can I buy a replacement, since this relay is obsolete..It is 4 pronged square open relay at 22amps..

Sorry for not explaining my problem in detail the 1st 2 times..

I.m not sure what you have but have you checked the relay, does it work, if not just get another relay it is only an electrically operated switch, nothing mysterious about them

 

Honda used a relay because they didn't want to switch heavy load through thermostatic switch. Wouldn't recommend trying to bypass relay.

Ok how many pins on the relay,4 or 5 I'm just guessing but this is what I would do, go to auto parts shop and get a 30 amp relay probably cost you $10 or get one from China for probably $3
