Maier is closing out their ABS lowers for the 86-87 VFR7xxFx. I just ordered both sides for a grand total shipped of $121.00. CBR600F2 front fenders are also on closeout for us guys with CBR front ends.

My Spider Sense tells me once their stock is depleted (if it isn't already, I haven't gotten an in-stock confirmation yet) that this source for lowers will be no more, so heads up is officially given.

X-Ray, thanks. I just placed my order. Can't beat that price for a spare set.

You're welcome, all. Now I just need a nose fairing and a little TLC on the underseat fairings and I can start my custom paint job!

After I got my Fazer I was trying to figure out what to name her, and a friend of mine jokingly suggested Priss, after the character from the 80's anime Bubblegum Crisis. Name stuck, and started a tradition of me naming my sportbikes after BGC characters. The Viffer is Sylia, and the custom paint job I have in mind is basically to paint the bike up to look as much like Sylia's hardsuit as possible. Probably going to use the Crash colors since they're darker, blue on a medium blue-grey, and a couple custom Knight Sabers stickers and maybe some pinstripe faux panel lines in a couple places. Basically overall medium gray with a blue stripe, some custom Knight Sabers, Interceptor, and Honda lettering, and a little subtle pinstriping. Ought to look good on track days.

Yeah, I've got them. They're hardware-less and undrilled, but they're here. Going to need a new nose before I bother with them, there's no reason to even try to fit them to my busted up upper.
