Mad Max is the only VFR 800 around and people don't know what to think of this Bike because it sounds and Looks much different than the Harleys around here. I would say there are maybe 60% Harley here and 40% of everything else, but only one Black VFR 800 with carbon 2 bos. Oh a Harley guy destroyed his bike and it was his fault and his leg had big scares on it and he even hit his head. I mentioned my leather pants might have kept him from getting hurt. Harley guy said no leather pants wouldn't help. I suppose he hit his head a bit too hard. I went back to garage on put the beast away and the Harley rider is on e stupid idiot :nelson:

Not only does his babbling not make any sense, but it's compounded by all the misspelling and poor grammar! I'm really surprised that someone with such an obvious mental disability is able to get a license, hold a job, and buy a bike in the first place.

:bandito:and how about BB, how does he get toll dough, has no licenses , never gets pulled over and has no motorcycle except when he's able to use someone elses. Gee he's got me beat by at least a couple of miles, and Randy and his used kitten sink he carries on the grab bars. I am actually doing pretty good and are shortly starting a advertising company selling real estate, my sales will be in the millions:stickhorse. Perhaps you wine too much! Oh my 06 is better than your bike.

this thread is a load of crap and I'll tell you why. No sixth gen would ever survive a post apocalyptic wasteland. You think they'll have time and parts to mess with vtec and failed cam chain tensioners? absolutely not. gear driven cams would rule.

you never have to fix a 06 and later, so it would be the only bike running.:nono:

sorry pal, only a fifth gen will be the last of the V4 interceptors. busted 6th gen cam chains may make handy weapons though.

I agree about the 5th Gen surviving. Watch the original again. Its going to be brutal. A 6th Gen lying on its side with 8 ounces of fuel in the tank won't help much when The Nightrider shows up

06 is 1.5 models ahead of a 5th-long died but the 6th keeps going-better built using updated tech.:director: the 5th got run over by a truck-unable to stop-no abs.

abs is just more components to fail, and what good are brakes when your engine is gone. cam chains is not updated tech buddy. gear driven cams replaced them in the VFs, remember? gear driven cam interceptors can log 450K miles. You'd have chewn through probably 5 chain tensioner sets by then. lord humongous would have you and your cats chained to his ride.

nope. more o2 sensors to fail. wait until your wax fast idle adjuster fails and your bike's puttering along fouling the plugs and wasting precious gasoline. Plan to find a replacement in the outback? the better fifth gens is manual and indestructible.

I have to side with V4toTour, my 5 Gen gets way better mileage on the average than my 6 Gen. The last ride I beat the best mileage of my 6 Gen by 5 MPG. Much prefer the GDC over cam chain too!

and I bet you didn't have to mix a special blend of oil with cat piss and 15 different viscosities, and then fill up a gallon of gas at a time at different stations with different octane ratings to accomplish that.
