Macey's Day Parade Not what it used to be

    For years growing up we watched the maceys Thanksgiving Day parade. You know to see the arrival of the big guy. My daughter is now old enough that she can sit and watch it.
    Okay so its too late to delete this thread.. but the actual parade id being shown now..
    All I wanted to do is share the parade with my daughter, and all we get is commercials

    The wife used to drag me to this every year when we lived on the Upper West Side (64th between Central Park West and Broadway). I always complained, but secretly enjoyed it.

    I grew up in NJ and I went with a friend when we were in college... we had a great time, but man was it cold!! If you go, bundle up!! Layers!! For the first time in my life, I was glad to be in a crowd, 'cause they helped keep the warmth in.
