Hey, I just got a 1986 vf500 and I'm looking to get a tail bag or panniers. I'm a total noob; can anyone give me any hints as to what I should be looking for? I think I want a Saddlemen HC2900 to store my helmet and or other various goods. Does anyone prefer panniers to tail bags, or vice versa? Any and all input is greatly appreciated!
