Not quite three years old and look where I am. Jasonsmith thinks it is too old and I should just give it to him and buy myself a new one. What do you think.

    77 777 kilometers = 48 328.3872 miles (thanks google)

That's really nothing. I say push it just to see if the odometer will carry an extra digit.

Duuuuuuuuuuude... granted, there isn't that many people to be riding with any more around here, buut I'm happy putting about 5 - 6000 a season on. Guess I'm not that much of a hard core rider like others, but most of my weekends have been remodeling a house. For about 7 - 8 months now. And mowing said yard. That's about an 8 hr chore there. Rather be out riding....

Congrats for making it past the 77,777km "break-in" period Randy! LOL!
Now that you've got your White Lightnin' all good and broken-in there's no point in selling it now, she's good to go,open'er up and let'er rip!!!

I had my old '86 VFR700 for thirteen years,it had just over 62,000 miles on it when I sold it. The guy I sold it to tells me it still runs strong and doesn't leak a drop. I talked to him about a month ago and told him I wanna buy it back from him,he's not budging.:frown:

I chuckled with that one. Its good to hear I am a long way from the grave. Both with the bike and the human element that goes with it.

Just got back from a ride and yes it still runs like a wabbit.

But it is going in soon for some work. I was chastised severely here for not having the fork oil changed yet.

Sorry Jasonsmith. You will be old before I gives this up:biggrin:

Let's see... 77,777 divided by Randy's age, carry the 2 for attitude, add 17.2 for sense of humor, multiply by 3 for cigar smoking, subtract 3 for consuming a disproportionate quantity of scotch, and find the square root of the whole mess...

According to my calculations, you pay too much in taxes, but you and the bike are good to go for quite some time yet.
