Does any one know if there is a way to lower the foot pegs on a 2007? Friend of mine has this beautiful RWB model but because of back issues he can only ride short distances because his legs cramp up. He raised the bars now needs to lower the pegs.
    thanks

Contact Larry Lovisone, in Sacramento CA, he makes a nicely machined set, for about $90.00:

I had Larry's (also known as BusyLittleShop - BLS) lowering blocks on my 5th gen and I loved them. For my 6th gen, I tried the adjustable footpegs from MRA. There are now Chinese knockoffs available for next to nothing comparatively. Either way, I do not recommend them.

Here is just one example of them:

I'm not saying they are bad, I am just saying I didn't really care for them and I much preferred the lowering blocks. You think since they are adjustable that it will be awesome, but if you go forward or back to raise or lower, then the distance from the brake and shifter changes. Also, they move your feet out away from the bike a little bit so you have to pigeon toe the shifter and brake.

I am waiting for him to engineer a set for my 8th gen. The Quick Shifter changes everything.

It all depends on if someone with an 8th gen comes to his shop. I asked about one for the 7th gen, but no one has gone to see him. Dammit!

You're close, ride up to the east side of Sacramento for the day and get them measured up.

I will check with him to see how much time he needs, and how many trips.
