Lost a fellow VFRW member

    Lost a fellow VFRW member - Obit added

    I just got word at the local sport bike forum that we've lost a friend. He was known here as havcar. At the CSC he was known as V4whore and in real life, he was known as Dave.

    One of the best riders I've known. He could make that VFR hang with anyone and any litre bike. He knew a lot about the bike and how to make it perform.

    He will be missed. Sounds like he passed doing one of the things he enjoyed the most and I think Deckers was his favorite run. The early word is that he passed quickly.

    A sad day, I enjoyed his racing interest posts. We can all go at any time. I will think of him when a thread that I know would be in his range is noticeable by his not being there to post.

    We all know that what we do to make our lives interesting can kill us, but we sublimate that knowledge and try to ignore that it could happen to one of us.

    I hope you ride like a champion in the next life Havcar. We loved you Dave. It doesnt seem fair to be this final, but there it is..............

    I generally read through every post in any thread that I have any interest in, and I always thought that havcar seemed like a pretty good guy. That really is a drag.
