Los Angeles Metro Area - Let's Ride?

Hi guys -

I have been riding the heck out of my 1985 VF500F Interceptor since October, but unfortunately don't really have anyone to ride with me... I have about 2k miles in, so still pretty new. Open to riding with all experience levels, though.

And if anyone has any ideas of riding clubs currently in operation that'd be great.

 

In case I missed you before, welcome to the site. I hear you had snow in the vicinity today. Bet that just frosted everyone down there. I am sure someone will chirp in for a ride. Keep an eye on the forums for the annual R3 2013 ride which is normally held on the Memorial Day long week-end in Atascadero. I have been toi three of them and look forward to going again. A great bunch of guys for sure. Good luck.

It's pretty darned cold around here that's for sure. Thanks for the tip, that sounds like a lot of fun... I'll look forward to it!

 

nice vf-500 I'm almost done restoring mine in a few weeks... check out ocmoto for rides, also lamar and socalridersforum...

 

I would also love to get a ride going. Not too sure about LA to Ventura, still getting used to this bike. But a local ride along the beach from say Sunset/Seal beach to Laguna or something would be fun.

 

Koconut, I'll often do this exact same route when I just want to get out of the house and be on the bike. Send me a PM if anytime you want to go do this, I work from home a lot of the time and sometimes I have time during the week.

Just thought I would add my name to the list so to speak. I am out in Moorpark, Ca. Canyons galore out here. My bike is in the shop right now, but it should be out soon. Let me know if you want to ride. I am going to be working a new job at Simi Valley Cycles in Simi Valley, so some weekends will be busy, but some I am off. Talk soon.

 

anyone still following this thread? I've been gone awhile, but just got me 93 VFR I need to get ridden.

 

I do, as I am "subscribed" to it. Currently I am booked for a while as I have a huge project that is taking my weekends up, but some time in mid-May I should have time for some riding!

Yeah, HB. Never see any VFR's. Just a bunch of Gixxers and Harley's. Hopefully I'll be able to see you guys out and about. I attend a monthly Euro bike meet in Newport, maybe we could get a VFR meet going in Huntington?
