... no 2007 RWB in my immediate future. I went to the dealership today and the salesman came back with a $10,900.00 OTD price for the maroon, not even the RWB, with bags. I said no thanks and left. I told him last week... My bike for the RWB with bags and $10,000.00 OTD, so no dice.

I am however now vested in a bike in Orlando. I called the dealership out there and put $200 down over the phone for a black 2006 Interceptor. It already has bags, and only 700 miles on it.

Danny, the salesman there that I talked to, said it was brought to him to sell on consignment from a guy who bought it for his wife and she ended up not wanting it. Danny said the bike is immaculate. Not a mark on it. My luck! They're asking $7,999.00 for it. I think I'll get a great deal for it when I show them my Ducati ST3 for the trade-in. I intend to go next Saturday to look at, and hopefully buy the bike. I'll let you all know what happens. The black is very sharp, but I'd love to get a matching (matching the wings on the tank I mean) silver 'HONDA' decals for the lower fairings like the RWB model. Anyone know where I can get something like that?

Another question that just came to mind... I see a lot of people buying after market slip-ons, some buying complete exhaust systems as well. My question is this: Can you take the baffles/wadding out of the stock cans? I think if you can, then why buy after market, ya know?

Before you get in too deep with the 06 you might want to look at the 07 25th on ebay right now for $9685.00. However it is in Russellville, Arkansas. It just depends on how bad you want one!

I don't know if you've seen my other posts, but I already had them matching a listing on Cycle Trader that was $9199.00 from Lawrenceville, Georgia. Your price does not include the luggage ($837 from the dealership with bike purchase), tax, tag, registration fees. Best I got for a 2007 RWB non-ABS was over $11,000.00. Not a deal at all. The maroon one with bags is what they tried to sell me for $10,900.00 OTD... again, not a deal at all as far as I am concerned.

Thanks, but I'd rather have a 2006 for $7,500.00 out the door that already has bags and only 700 miles on it. The salesman said they performed the break-in maintenance on it themselves and it's immaculate and ready to go.

Why spend even 9k when you get practically a new bike with luggage for $7,500.00? That makes absolutely no sense to me unless you just have an incurable hard-on for the RWB as some sort of collector's item. In a couple years you'll probably be able to still buy them brand new in crates for less that $9k.

Besides, the black is a nice looking bike and at that price I can't really pass it up.
