looking for ultrasonic carb cleaning

Do any forum members have ultrasonic cleaning equipment, or know where that service is available.?
I need the stripped down carb bodies ultrasound cleaned.

 

Google pine sol cleaning.

I don't know what these people use, but back when I was wrenching on boats, they performed minor miracles. I took in a few carbs that I though were history, and they did an excellent job of restoring them;

Carburetors: Recarbco - rebuilt carbs and throttle bodies

They're in Pittsburg, CA.

 

They do great work, but I can do them myself, and I do not have that kind of money to spend.

The pine-sol cleaning looks good. But 1-3 day soak is a tad much. I've been using straight Simple Green. It will clean just as good or better in only a couple of hours. Stuff is better than the acid type carb cleaner.

 

I did go to the link you provided but could not find what you sent me too with this link.
I will give it a try. I tried boiling in lemon juice and that did nothing.

 

I have a gallon of Simple green too and I will try.
I think soda blasting or ultrasonic cleaning may be the only option.

 

The problem simple green is it takes the oil out o rubber. So make sure all vac lines/boots/etc are off.

 

What I was thinking, with regard to Recarbco, is that they might be willing just to soak/clean the bodies for you. You're right; they are expensive. They were expensive 20 years ago, too, which is why I only took them customer's carburetors that I knew were going to be tough to find replacements for.

If nothing else, they might tell you what they use if you sound like a potential customer.
