Hi, i just bought a used 2000 VRF 800, its got no fairings, no lights, no front brake lever, a bent rear brake pedal, and no shifter pedal. I was wondering if anyone has a headlight assembly, shifter pedal and any parts for lights (turnsignals, brake lights etc.) This is my first bike, and so i was planning on working on it during the winter, so i can ride it in the spring. I dont have much of an income, so buying some of these parts new is a bit expensive.

    Thanks,
    Victor

welcome to the forum. I hope the guy paid you to take that thing. How about some pictures?

    :worthless:

given enough time, you should be able to find some parts for that. Maybe find another crashed or parts bike for cheap. Then part it out and sell the pieces you don't need to earn your money back.

start watching youtube videos on plastic repair and shopping ebay for lightly damaged plastics. There are a couple front fairings on there now for under $50 that need love. You've got a great bike at a great price if you can find everything you need for $1500, sounds doable if you are willing to repair and paint. You may have done some looking already on your own, so as you may already know, in cherry shape that bike will bring $3500 right now.
