Looking for a tank 1/2 bra for the '07 VFR tank. Wondering if anyone has experience, good or bad, with any specific brands. Targa sells one (below link), maybe others do too. I've got one of the targas, it fits good and tight, but not so that it leaves scratches behind. I do put my insurance & registration papers in there, which gives it a good place to be. I always clean it off under before I put it on for the summer, and move it out of the way for cleaning. Always comes off for the winter as well, prolongs the life of the elastic. Been there since new, still fits tight. Oh - and if you have a steering dampner, make sure to put it (the bra) on before you put that on. That was a pain.
Good call on the removing for winter to maintain the elasticity - nice tip. Just ordered the 'carbon vinyl' look 27-136CV - $52 delivered from Powersport Superstore. Couldn't really find any other options than Targa. But it looks like exactly what I was looking for, so it's all good.
