Found that one of my hardcase mounting points has given up the ghost today when I was washing it. Wasn't the weight of the case, but vibration + some side torque, from the looks of things.

In the following pic, the black arm of the hardcase support is just above the brake caliper, and attaches by the passenger footpeg and the muffler.

Cracked through the bolt hole that I used. Meh.

Marsh Welding. On Rosecrans Ave., just a couple blocks East of the 405. Owner/Operator. I think this guy has the oldest welding shop in the South Bay. He's one of those guys that has the rare ability to cut a coke can in half and then tig weld it back together.

Give the folks at Evolution Suspension in San Jose a buzz and ask them to recommend someone for you....they might even be able to do it for you!

Hey JTC - South Bay, as in, South Bay Area.....Little far to go to Socal from Santa Cruz, lol!

Unfortunately, wrong south bay. San Jose, not SoCal.

    Here's One in Santa Cruz

Try Orb Engineering in Santa Cruz. They're associated with Holeshot and do metalworking/welding work on cycles. Been around a long time. 831-768-8757. The proprietor is Paul McCain (pmcorb123@cruzio.com).
