I have an 06 VFR that I just bought new and I'm looking for a fender eliminator kit, anybody want to chime in as to which manufacturer is the best, as in, quality of materials, functionality, ease of installation (No Cutting!) and looks? Also which company is the best supplier? I would prefer an online source. Thanks in advance for any input you folks might provide!

Do a quick search, someone was just talking about this last week. Easiest and cheapest was to just remove the plastic from the rear fender and leave the metal bracket itself.

I tried that approach before buying the CW kit. I did not like the look of it and the plate hung too far out and down. It is definitely worth trying though before buying an aftermarket kit. It will come down as to whether you think it looks good or not.

Thanks everybody for your input, it is much appreciated. I did a forum search on the subject and read all of the previous posts, which I'm glad I did. I am in the process of obtaining the factory hard bags and it would seem that the mounting of these bags requires the factory fender mount to mount the bags correctly. I will research it further to see if there is a way to have the best of both worlds. Thanks again.

yeah you need the stock fender to hold the hard bag brackets. I wasnt running hard bags and I got the Comp Werkes fender elim. and it looks bitchin and works fine. Fenders are for the birds!
