    Hey Guys,

I recently picked up an '83 VF750F, all red, in absolutely fantastic condition. 26000 kms and I got it from the original owner who stored it inside in a heated garage for the last 30 years. Honestly, there are very few flaws. A small dent in the tank that I'm taking to a paintless dent repair place and a couple of minor scratches I'm going to live with. There are 2 spots on the tail section paint that have been rubbed through, as well as some wear on the black chrome exhaust, both from soft saddle bags.

Anyway, there is also some rust on the one pipe that looks to be from the inside out. Kinda weird to be honest. Anyway, because of the wear and the chrome issues, I'm looking for a minty set of mufflers.

I'm looking for one of the following:
1: set of mufflers in as close to as new condition as possible
2: right side muffler in as close to as new condition as possible
3: right side muffler with no mechanical damage and a good candidate for re-chroming.

Let me know if you have something or know where I can find any of the above.

    Cheers,

    Wes

Those are another set of "Hens Teeth". If they didn't rot out from the inside because PO rode it short distances and never got them to dry out or started the bike in the winter to keep the batery charged (dumbasses). They got banged up from what ever. I have a set with only 4k miles on them. But they have some marks and a small dent if I remember right. I'm keeping them for spares. My right one has a small rust hole in it now after all these years.

I know a guy who has/had a set when I talked with him back in May. He was trying to sell. Though the way he talked they were not in the greatest shape. He's over on the Honda Sabre, Magna, Interceptor BBS - Index site and his real name is Clay. Don't remember his screen name. You could hunt him down there.

Last time I needed one I ordered it from Honda parts.

    110 bucks a side.

But that was also about 5 years ago.....

I have a NOS set of mufflers but they were not very cheap to start with and the postage to canada would be pricey.
