I've always wanted a V65 Sabre...I'm just wondering if the older bikes are worth it?

Parts for a Sabre may be tricky...

I'm not aware of any know issues with the '85 Sabre. I know the '83ish Magna had issues.

Should I pass on the old beast...? I can't imagine I would chose to ride it over my '91 VFR ;)

    But I would ride it.

I had an early 82 Magna V45. It was a wealth of issues. Later v4's had less, but never messed with the 65's. I would serriously think of buying any Saber, been wanting to modernize one. But I'd expect some heavy work on it.
