lookin for torque specs

anybody know the torque specs i need to replace clutch in 97 vfr750f engine cover and clutch bolts ....also need the fram oil filter part #

Hey thnx um will the ph 6017a work thats the number i managed to find online and i also need the oil capacity i got four bottles of amsoil synthetic.

 

Amsoil also sells oil filters, I just buy the filters when I order the oil from Amsoil..........

 

Thanks guys! I didn't realize that amsoil had filters, trouble is up here in Canada most of the good stuff has to be bought retail otherwise i have to order from the states and wait, only went with Fram due to availability, and price guess i relay shouldn't cheap out there though. K&n can be had fairly easily as well as genuine Honda maybe ill just get a Honda although that would mean not completing the work until tomorrow.

 

so anybody know about the clutch basket bolts

 

clutch center nut (big one in the middle) g thru p models 65 ft-lbs
r model and onward 80 ft-lbs
97 fvr750 is a V model So 80 ft-lbs
the five bolts that hold the plates and springs in
manual says to tighten them evenly in a criss cross pattern
until they are securely tightened
no torque specified. these bolts will bottom out they set tension on clutch plates via springs
