Look what the easter bunny brought me :)

    Hi all,

    I just picked up my "new" 1998 VFR!

    I have wanted one since I started riding in 2004 but a) Couldn't afford it and b) didn't want to start one an 800. This bike is perfect, I picked her up on Friday and by Saturday evening I had put 1500km (~1000 miles) on her. I can't wait until tomorrow to go for another ride and I am looking forward to sharing the wonderful world of vrfs with you all.

    Congrats! Looks great! Best year made ( check my avatar...LOL). Did you by chance buy this from member Britt from Illinois? He had just bought a CBR1100XX in candy red or something. He was just selling his 1998.

    Congrats and welcome to the madness. I'm sure you'll love the ole' Viffer! The gear driven cams and V4 sound are simply intoxicating. We always preach safety here so if you haven't bought some good riding gear you should look into it.

    10-4 on that one, I have a full teknic suit, boots and gloves. Going to buy me another full set for my passengers.

    I bought this bike in Ontario and I don't know if the fellow is a member or not...

    Nice purchase and one you'll love for ever, make sure you find a nice aftermarket end can for it in some states it's a criminal offence not sharing the VFRs wonderful v4 sounds with the world. :cool:
