Ok so if the plan holds up in two weeks I should be headed to the Great White North. Ill be looking for free food, drinks, and supplies :tongue: Or at least the best camping place near by.


Day one Friday 27 tried to go and meet Reggie and Jason in moab. Charging I ng system didn't see right 80miles out so turned around. Robbed RR off vstar and left 28th and road up hwy 1 to daughters in San Francisco for the night. Had breakfast and loaded up.

29th Wanted to ride up hwy 1 until rain stopped me and slow cars, wet roads, tight turns it was slow going. So found my way to 101 after I put on the rain gear. PS boots not water proof. About 6pm pulled into Willet Ca. Got gas, looked at map and didn't see another good town before dark. Figure I could use a good dry out I got a motel for the night. I will see what the radar shows tomorrow.

If you want to join along, meet up, offer a couch and morning coffee then Post up. Going through Oregon, Washington then up to Canada.

Not sure which way Im headed, I know big surprise. hwy 1, 5 or 97. Been 97 last time so it will most likely be 5 or 1. Also depends on who fights for me the most :biggrin:

Expect to leave the 27 of September and coming back.....well not sure if I am yet.... First day ride should get me to Grants Pass Or.

Nice comfy bed here for you Brian. Beer and BBQ as well. Scotch, rye, three rums, bourbon, vodka, gin tequila, dranbui, Schnapps, Bailie's, Irish whiskey, Desarono and a few other bottles of something or other up there too. Still have a couple cases of wine too but I think that is more Marribs fancy. Can still get some decent riding here in October but that is getting lesser by then.

Thanks Randy Cranberry jusice and Desorano is my favorite Not sure if Im leaving the 20th or the 27th. Going to pick up a new Mosfit R/R tomorrow at the rock store meeting Jack from Shindengen FH020AA Mosfet Regulator/Rectifier . If anyone wants to meet at the Rock store about 10 am Ill be there. Might even get to meet jay Leno ! Then I have to come back and do some serious work. Coolant and brake fluid change, new plugs, clean oil air filter, install new r/r and wiring, new chain and sprockets, replace 194 fog bulbs with LEDs, order and install another set of touring tires, new brake pads. I hope that is all. Going to forgo the valve check I think. Be nice to replace those pesky orings at the carb cross tubess and sync the carbs if I had one of those meters, but I think that is a bit much for me tight now.

Ill keep you posted on the departure.

That is my new Secretary of the National Association for Tourism, Culture and Heritage here in the United Federal Republic of Randy. I am trying to work on an Acronym for that ministry and her title. Anyone here have any ideas?
