Login time - can we extend it?

I like to keep logged into the site during the day while I'm at work, but I find I have to log in way too many times during the day because the system logs me out quickly. Does anyone else want to see the login time increased? I thought it might be an individual option for us, but I didn't see how I could adjust it.

 

At home, I just usually check the 'remember me' box. each time I go to the page, I am logged in.

 

Yes I just check the 'remember me' box and it has kept me logged in for at least a week now. Maybe you have cookies not enabled for this site or something, on a lot of sites that will make your login timeout almost immediately or not be able to login at all?

 

I don't think this has much to do with the vfrworld.com It is usually a security setting issue where cookies aren't being saved or are being cleared by some other process. I know many businesses do not allow cookies period and some purge regularly. Personally at home I will remain "remembered" until I decide to clean up. You can try to change your settings on your browser at work if you have the appropriate permissions to do so.

:focus: It does sound like cookies are not enabled, as mentioned before, especially if you are checking the 'Remember Me' box.
