needed to clear my head so thought i would go for a spin. started 9am and got back at 6.30pm not bad for my 1st proper solo ride on the vfr. i've been having so much bad luck with electric gremlins i and bringing bike back on a recovery lorry everytime i went out that i didn't want this ride to end. i managed to round up 290.7 miles with two stops. i'm feeling it now tho. everything was going great untill my second stop at a mcdonalds for a coffee. went to turn bike in to the carpark space with my foot on rear barke to stead it and i must of pressed a litllle to ard as the cbs kicked in and caused the front brake to come on. the bike was going over managed to get my foot to the floor and save the bike but for a little bike DAM they can be heavy. i'm heart was in my mouth. i've been riding for 6yrs and never dropped a bike i certainly was going to start now. 10620606_1523091514593372_8424367840465122063_n.jpg 10632817_1523091544593369_6302954362290437476_n.jpg 983781_1523091574593366_2431349418328910899_n.jpg 10645145_1523091624593361_9157939376171042605_n.jpg 10306750_1523091647926692_235073046531424823_n.jpg 10624931_1523091667926690_2452702979190606663_n.jpg

Well held - truly a feat worthy of Men of Harlech! :thumb:

Thanks for the ride report and the pictures which finally proves it does not rain all the time in Wales! As for stopping in McDonalds when most small towns in Wales still have at least one superb tea shop - you must have been keen for a pit-stop. Anyway great to hear the bike is finally behaving and starting to gain your trust, and you didn't have to test those frame sliders.

    Take care
