I have a 98 vfr and when the ignition is on or the engine is running, the hi beam doesn't go on but the low beam is ok. The 10 amp fuse blows out when i grab the front brakes. Can you guys hepl me fix this. All the turn signals and the horn works. No blown out bulbs. Thanks.:help:

With regard to the front brake and 10A fuse; does using the rear brake pedal blow the fuse, and if not, does the brake light illuminate? If the rear brake pedal/ brake light works OK, the short is probably in the front brake lever switch. If the rear brake pedal also makes the fuse blow, then the short is either in the rear brake light housing/bulb or in the wiring in between the housing and one of the brake switches.
