Has anyone noticed that after fitting Genmar bar risers to a 2000 vfr, that the front end is very light and the bike is now dicey when overtaking artic lorries, as mine is and I am not sure if it is because I am sitting slightly futher back and more upright therfore catching more wind and being blown about alot more especialy on motorways, in fact it is quite frightning.

Lorry: dump truck. May also be a big rig.

You can adjust your suspension settings to make the bike slightly more "neutral", that should put a bit more weight back on the front for you and make it more stable at the same time.

I think he is saying that when he is passing large trucks now, the bike is pushing him around more now then before the mod.

Thanks, i had my rear suspension set at no 2 as that is what the book says is a normal setting but I realize I weight about 16 stones with all my gear on, I will try putting it up to no 4 which should raise the rear and put more weight on the front wheel which should make me more stable.
