    Hi Gang,

I just picked up a 2007 RWB leftover for $7,750 with an extra year of Honda warranty.

As it was explained to me, the extra year warranty was an incentive to sell the idle inventory.

In talking with several dealership managers/owners I found that there are quite a few leftovers in Honda Warehouses. In fact one guy suggested that there are probably 100's of leftover 2007 RWB's in about 8 warehouses.

Has anyone else had the opportunity to talk to any dealerships on this subject?

I am quite surprised that the RWB did not sell very well.

    Thanks for any input, Boston

Nice, frack, wish I had the $$ for a new bike or I'd be hunting for one of those. $7750 is a very good deal.

does this have to be purchased through the dealer? or is there another way. until a friend told me tonight, i didn't know about leftover warehouses. i googled it, and came across this thread.

a couple weeks ago when i talked to a salesman at the local dealership about purchasing an interceptor, he said:
    1) no 09's will be brought in
    2) i can get an 08 at $600 below the msrp
    3) i can get an 07 at $1,200 below the msrp

that is nothing compared to the deal bostonexchange got. for those that got a good deal, did you have to haggle? or did they offer you that warehouse price right off the bat? thanks in advance.

As some have seen in another thread my 2007 R/W/B vfr was totalled. I would like to know where these deals are at as I would love to get another one with ABS. The non-abs are relatively easy to come by but the ABS are kind of hard to find. I called a dealer in Tennessee who said he could get one but he wanted $9599. Now I don't think that is a bad deal but it's not really a good deal. I bought mine last year for $9199. I would think that it would be that or less considering we are now in '09. Although I am very broken(collar bone, ribs, hip), and my wife isn't real excited about anothr bike, I would still like to find another 07 RWB ABS.

Any help in finding one at the aforementioned prices would be greatly appreciated.

The exclusivity seems to have worn off long ago. The fact that they made thousands of them, instead of hundreds, really killed the sales and the paint job alone wasn't worth the extra money they were asking.

I don't doubt that some said there are 100's in warehouses, I just don't believe it's true. Last yeara hoard of them because available in both colors, the dealers went got a good deal and in most cases passed that on to us. There are 3 dealers where I live, one dealer had sales people that didn't know what it was and they didn't have one. the 2nd dealer had one and they weren't dealing, but the 3rd dealer was just right(I know, I know the 3 bears) The dealer near me bought 9 VFRs, 5 RWB and 4 candy red. All of them sold within a month of weather getting nice and I thought were a good deal. $8999 for non-abs and $9499 for ABS. I had bought my previous bike there and have known them for years so I got mine for $9199. A good deal. As for the exclusivity wearing off, you may be right, I remember the 80's and when the Hurricane took over as the race bike but for a lot of people having a VFR is a sickness. For me that sickness encompasses the whole line, VTR250, VF500, VFR800(5th and 6th gen) and a VF1000R.
So my VFR may not be that cool to the masses but I like it because it's different. And so far the only one in town that I've seen. Big3 lives 30-40 minutes from me and think his is the closest.

On a side note I have this same sickness with International Scouts. I like riding/driving things that everyone doesn't have
