LED tail lights?

    Hi guys, I'm looking to replace my tail light bulbs with LED's. Does my gen 6 ABS use a canbus electrical system, or standard wiring ? Thanks guys

    I got mine at a local speed shop. Nothing special about $20 each. Love 'm. Faster. Brighter. One slips out of the connector every 5000 miles or so but I don't think it's the connector not the bulb side.

    They are simple automotive LED bulbs readily available at any auto parts store. I changed mine out several years ago. I kinda remember about %17.00 each. If you want to do the signal lights, you will need a resistor though.

    Make certain you get red bulbs of you're in the U.S. White bulbs will be white. You have to get red bulbs. If you do the blinkers, you need amber. None of the lenses are colored enough to change a white bulb.

    Good move to put in LED's. I can tell they get driver's attention better on my 8th gen. I think they make for a safer bike in a world of cages intent on killing all bike riders......
